Hej, I’m Ewa. I am a certified Health and Life Coach. Since we all are innately whole, perfect and capable, nobody ever “needs” coaching to live a good happy life.
And yet… the depth of support that comes with having a guide in your corner, one that sees you with clear and kind eyes, and “hold” firmly the belief what's possible for you, can be oh so profound, actually life changing.
I know this to be true as I have been privileged to experience true mentorship myself during different chapters of my life. More about that in a bit.
First. I was born in Sweden and grew up in a large-ish family north of Stockholm. I became self-sufficient from an early age, something that served me well as a young competitive traveling gymnast, finding my way to trainings and competitions. The gymnastics lead the way to a professional Swing Dance career in the Swedish dance company The Rhythm Hot Shots.
As a professional dancer, performer and instructor I traveled the world. I learned what it takes to “Go All In” and I was willing to sacrifice things for the benefit of my team and our shared dream. I was deeply dedicated, and it’s with that same commitment I show up today, for the work I do with my clients.
Connection and Possibility are two of my values, which like scaffolding are framing my coaching practice.
During the years I was teaching at swing dance festivals I developed a skill to be quick on my feet, but also good at connecting with different kinds of people and understanding how I could make the biggest difference for and with them, in the limited amount of time we had together.
Today I am really good at understanding my clients' roadblocks and see how we together can shift the way my clients approach life, and navigate around their challenges.
It’s about moving smarter, not harder.
I'm passionate about helping my clients see and use their strengths. I guide my clients home to themselves. I help them see and appreciate the beauty of who they are, and realize that they already have everything that life asks from them, to go where they wanna go.
As I experienced personal loss early on in life I know how vulnerability feels. I quickly developed the skill of a people pleaser and neglecting my own needs. Over time, and with help, I learned to believe my worth, honoring my own desires, finding my voice, and creating safety from within.
Facing loss and coming out on the other side, have helped me to trust in life itself. I believe that we are stronger than we sometimes feel, and that we have what it takes to get back up, as many times as needed, when we’re knocked down.
During a time when my client walk a little heavy through the dark alleys of life, I am right there next to them, shining the flashlight, leading the way, because I have been back there myself. I know the way forward, into the light.
Next to my dancing career I worked with graphic design in my dads company. My dad has always been my biggest cheerleader. As life can be both messy and serious enough, my dad taught me the importance of sprinkle life with Joy whenever possible. I encourage my clients to do the same. I find Vitamin F (for Fun) be an undervalued source of energy.
My higher education was around Art and Exhibit Design. I loved to learn how all the separate aspects of an exhibit support and lift the experience and overarching message. Coloring with bright color outside the lines was, and still is my jam.
For my clients my creative side is present when I keep my hands and heart open for what's More and Possible, for what we yet not see or quite understand. When we are out exploring, we make sure to keep a door open for the light to sip in, and for a little bit of Magic to take place.
One client at a time. One sparkle of presence. A touch of lightness.
I know the impact of coaching as I have experienced true mentorship myself both as a former professional dancer, as well as during a time when navigating my multi-cultural family, and business life while raising our two kids on two continents (in Sweden and USA).
I’m always investing in improving my knowledge and skills so that the coaching will have the biggest impact for my clients. You will always find me enrolled in next-level programs, and invested in my own personal Coach.
Some of my teachers and mentors (known and less known), that I have studied from, that I greatly appreciate and value; Stacey Morgenstern, Carry Peters, Don Gain, Nina Lacher, Stacey Boehman, Lindsay Dotzlaf, Tamara Wolfe, Jim Kwik, Brene Brown, Hal Elrod.
I know how messy life can be. And I know how it feels to not fully fit in.
I met my American husband when he came to Sweden to learn the Lindy Hop. Relocating to a new country and a totally different culture comes with constant traveling, learning how to navigate life and expectations from family and close friends back home in Sweden, but also more personally manage my own feelings as I was pulling my kids away from my family and making it difficult for everyone involved to develop the close relationships I would love for them all to have, and so highly value.
I know how messy life can be. And I know how it feels to not fully fit, when you are made from a different piece of cloth. I had to learn to be patient and kind toward myself and my surroundings, and to stand firm on my own no matter what the outside circumstances look like.
I am helping my clients do the same, showing themselves a huge amount of compassion and kindness toward self as they bravely navigate through the maze of their own life, in the direction of their desires and dreams.
To be a coach is the biggest privilege to me and I care deeply for my clients. Coaching is a personal relationship, it is a co-creation, and that is what I am really good at.
If you are ready. I am here to support you. Every step of the way.
Let’s Go!
